Just another day...

So, Kayla and I took Kaygan on a walk this afternoon. Walking is oh so much more fun when you're pushing around a little cutie! I had my after baby follow up appointment yesterday, and of the 25 lbs that I put on during pregnancy, so far, I've lost... 32 lbs! Guess who's super excited about that one! I definitely want to keep that weight coming off, and I figure walking with my little Noodle Bug is the way to do that! Plus, I can usually get my mom or one of my sisters to go too, and I bet I'll be able to get Bobby to come with us once in a while too!

After my marathon mobile photo upload yesterday, I decided to try a little harder to keep up with those and getting them on here so that I don't have to spend so much time at once doing so many!

This is from this afternoon before we went on our walk. She sleeps best in someone's arms or in her Boppy!
Here's another one from yesterday.
This is how I found her after driving into town today. Just doesn't look too comfy!

Mobile Phone Photos...

So, I have a ton of pics in this post... These are ALL from my phone! They're really not in any order, but I'll try to 'caption' the ones I can!

This was today... April Fool's Day! 6 Weeks and 1 Day old! She's in the cutest little dress... it's actually a preemie size, but I don't know what preemie would fit well in this... It's even big on Kaygan!

This little red 'lesson' is for Kaygan to look at. She loves to look at it! The black and white contrast is really interesting to her!
She mimics us... if we stick out our tongues at her, she does it back to us!
Her NICU quilt is her comfort zone quilt! She loves to cuddle that thing!
Now THIS is a relaxed baby!

Her first outdoor walk! She loved it! Her hat is something that was donated to NICU babies... so she got one!
Smiley Baby!

She sleeps with her eyes open sometimes!
This blanket was made by my Grandma Theiss for the baby when my mom was pregnant with me. Didn't know if I was a boy or girl... but this blanket rocks!
Hey, Wus up?
Relaxin on Daddy!

Raaaawwwwww!!!!

We're not happy!

Hayden feeding Kaygan a bottle. Haydie is SO excited about a baby girl around... I think I've mentioned it before, but this was her first time to really get to hold and cuddle Baby Kaygan.
Wearing a little bow from Aunt Bex!

This onesie has a pink New York Yankees logo on it!

Hmmmm, like father like daughter!

So, this isn't a Kaygan picture, but it's a miracle! Madison (our little chihuahua) doesn't care for anyone else with 4 legs... the two of them touching is a miracle!

Sleeping and cuddling with a burp cloth!

Snoozin with Aunt Bex!
Bobby in the hospital, just getting the induction started!
Not sure what day this was for sure, but we were still in the hospital!
She loves her Seahorse! Helps her sleep!

Hope you enjoyed!!!

Giggle, Giggle, Squirm and Wiggle

So, I'm sitting here, and Bobby and Kaygan are sitting next to me in the rocking chair. Talking and dancing... well, Bobby is talking and and making Kaygan's little chubby legs dance... and she's giggling!!! Not full out belly laughs, but little giggles and coos... and it's just so darn cute to listen too!!!

Hanging with Grandma'am

Boy, naps are nice!

First Tub Bath!!

So, on March 27th (Happy Birthday Kara) Kaygan finally got her first tub bath... we've been waiting and waiting and WAITING for her umbilical cord stump to fall off... and it finally did a few days ago! There was still a little bit of it hanging on, so we kept treating it with alcohol for a few days before we got it wet!

I was so excited to get to do this. One of my big 'things' in the hospital, was that I'd wanted her first bath to be in our room with us, so we could take pictures etc. Basically, I just wanted to be there for her first bath. Well, with everything that happened, obviously, a bath was the last thing on everyone's minds that night! She did get one from a NICU nurse when she was a few days old, but they did it in the middle of the night when we weren't there.

So, we pulled out the camera and everthing!

Here she is getting ready!

She tolerated the whole thing pretty well until the water started to get a little chilly... it was either that or me rinsing the shampoo out of her hair. Two tiny little trickles ran into her face and it was all over from there! Then, she was loud and proud of it! It took a few minutes to calm her down and get her dressed, but then she had a very VERY sound nap!
